i volunteer every year at world languages day because i had such a great time at it when i went in high school. this year i was a staff member which was awesome cuz i get a special shirt and get to boss people around i took a bunch of pictures of the volunteers, a few presenters and many less students. here’s a few of the shots i got.

we’re going back in time a little bit here, but whatever. last time my dad came to visit i wanted to show him some of michigan state’s gardens but he didn’t have time and i had a busted knee. so the next day i hobbled around campus to take some pictures and show my parents what you can find here.

i was going through some pictures trying to throw together a half-decent portfolio and i came across one that suddenly struck me as funny. 10 minutes of photoshop later, i came up with this:

a bit ago i took pictures of this band that was playing at a local bar. it was practically painful since there was almost no available light on the band. there was a little bit leaking out from the bar and one purple spotlight on the singer. i have no idea how i exposed anything at all. anyway, the band was called Wine Me Up and here’s a few good ones:
